Volunteer Opportunities

If you would like to help the poor and needy of the Wabash Valley, then The Light House Mission is the place to volunteer. The Mission and the Conner's Center (the women's shelter) are open 365 days a year, and help is needed every day, including the weekends. Some of the opportunities available are:

Sort items for the Thrift Stores
Help with food preparation
Serve meals
Sign up people for the Thanksgiving basket and Christmas toy distribution (In November)
Painting
Cleaning
Carpentry
Lawn care – raking leaves, cleaning fence rows, picking up debris, etc.
Other opportunities as needs arise
